A few weeks ago I got out of the house for a bit to attend the bead expo that was in town at the Convention Center in Niagara Falls. My favorite vendor was there so I grabbed a bin and started stocking up on skull beads! She had some very interesting stuff. The first thing I found were these metal skulls. I only ended up with two of them and then I found the metal cross with skulls and I couldn’t pass it up! I’m still deciding what I’m going to make with these:
Then I came across these cool wooden skulls. I think I picked up some of these last time so I’m just adding to the stash. I might make a pair of earrings out a couple and see how that turns out. I’m always looking to make new jewelry to wear on stage with my metal band, Steel Kingdom.
And I can never get enough of these cute colored skull beads. These make great bracelets.
I also found some black skull beads just like the colored ones above. I had to grab a few strands of those as well!
On to a new vendor that I don’t think was there the last time I went. I found these cool purple colored marble looking beads. Still not totally sure what I will do with these but I couldn’t pass them up!
These colored pearly beads caught my eye and I had to have them! I think I’m going to match these up with some other beads in my stash for a nice necklace for my mom.
And as I left for the day they of course had to tell me they will be in Rochester in April so I’ll be saving some cash up for that day to see if I can grab any more skulls and other bead finds! Keep an eye out for future posts, I’ll be sharing whatever I end up making with these!
