The holiday season is quickly approaching, and you may already find yourself asking, what on earth am I going to get for everyone? (or even more important what you are going to tell people you want). We try to be original and thoughtful with our gifts, but sometimes walking the mall for hours and hours kills my inspiration and makes me just want to give out cash and be done with it all. I’ve compiled this holiday gift guide of things that I think every crafty rocker needs in their life. So as they say, without further ado, here we go not in any particular order. Just in order that I think of things. All items are available for purchase by clicking on the image. Happy shopping !
Cricut Explore Air Wireless Cutting Machine
This dye cut machine can do it all for any project you want, and now you can do it wirelessly via blue tooth technology. No cords to get in the way. You can cut from all sorts of media such as (but not limited to card stock, vinyl and fabric). Great for scrap booking, embellishments, logos and many other projects you would like to add your own flair too . I promise, you will not run out of ideas.
SterlingPro French Coffee Press 8 Cup
I absolutely love coffee and will take it any way I can get it. I’ve heard from so many people that the only true way to drink coffee is with a french press. I heard this for years and didn’t really pay much mind to it. I decided to buy this for my husband for his birthday as he is also an avid coffee drinker. I couldn’t believe how much richer my cup of coffee was! Try it, I promise you, you will not be dissapointed!
Fitbit One Wireless Activity Plus Sleep Tracker
This is honestly one of the best things I ever got for myself. It takes almost effort to track your steps daily and it uploads everything into your Fitbit account and pairs with most cell phones.
Power Drill & Tool Set Bundle PLUS
One of the first things I bought for myself when I decided to take DIY and crafting serious was the Pinkbox drill. It’s very versatile, light way and user friendly. It keeps a charge for a long time. Having my drill I have been able to take on many more tasks than I could without. What is nice with this bundle is it comes with a canvas toolbag chocked full of tools such as drill bits, a hammer, Tape Measure, 6 inch Needle Nose Pliers, 6 inch Slip Joint Pliers, 8 piece Hex Key Wrench Set , a bit Driver, 19 piece 1 inch Bits Set with 1 inch Extension Bar, 4 Precision Screwdrivers (Phillips and straight edge). Every woman needs her own toolset and this is a perfect start!
AccuQuilt GO Fabric Cutter
I tried one of these out at a demo class last year and have been yearning to get one since! I never thought I’d ever want to quilt because I’ve seen how hard it is to make quilting squares. I’ll be the first to admit , I am terrible at cutting anything. This machine makes it so that you can make quilting squares out of any fabric. You can also choose from many different patterns without scissors or rotary cutters.
The Original Pink Box Pink Utility Knife with Retractable Blade and Twine Cutter
I know this is not something that most people would look for on their wish list, but I will sing the highest praises for this item. This is a definite need for any crafter’s toolbox. It’s great for scrapbooking, cutting twine and boxes. This utility knife has a very comfortable grip and even a klutz like me can handle it without getting cut. It has a nice locking retractable blade, and the blade storage is also in a locking container.
Surebonder DT-280F Dual Temperature 60 Watt Full Size Standard Glue Gun
One thing all crafters can use is a reliable glue gun. What I like about this one, is that it has a nice little stand to rest the hot gun on instead of having to lie it on something with lots of oozing glue getting all over the place
Fiskars 45-Millimeter Titanium Softgrip Comfort Loop Handle Rotary Cutter
A rotary cutter is nice tool to have for cutting paper and cloth. This cutter has a nice feature I like, that is double safety feature. You have a nice push down style lock on the handle, then, the part I like that keeps it safe from prying little hands, is the blade only comes out when you push down on the surface that you are cutting on.
I hope you enjoyed my holiday gift guide and are inspired by my list. I have tried and loved all these products and hope you do the same.
